Our Mission
WiTV was founded by a couple of guys who thought it would be fun to start a wormhole corp. Despite our research and experience we were greener than cabbage and made pretty much every mistake in the book, but we persevered, grew and made some friends.
PEW mostly grew out of other guys with whole corps wanting to join our vibe and "us" wanting a new shared banner to march under (and easier admin but that's boring).
From the start, we hoped to build something that could and would grow into a respectable wormhole group, where players could freely enjoy interesting wormhole (and other) content, build their skills and wallets all in the context of a friendly and accepting environment with people who might even become friends over time.
There was always an intention to embrace less than hardcore players, people with mental health issues (I shouldn't need to go too far into this but I think nearly all of us have some kind of thing we can mention on this topic), mixed skill levels, even people who just like the community and prefer to hang out in hisec. π
That's the core of it β a community. The main criteria for entry has always been a willingness to become part of a community and work in tandem with others to further the aims of that community.
Despite the differences in skills, RL situation, timezone, culture, etc β we share our home and comms, build, fight and dig with each other, and this is glorious in itself.
We take things seriously but not too seriously, because that way lies madness (and burnout). I feel this makes us hardcore casuals, but that's a good thing.
If there was a simple mission it is this: to all become rich and respectable wormhole bros, dipping our shiny cruditΓ©s into the varied flavours of Eve.

Member Expectations
The base expectation is to try to be on comms, participate in the day to day activities and develop into a more accomplished player as a result.
We should do our best to maintain decent standards of behaviour towards each other and other members of the Eve community. This doesn't mean you can't chat it up a bit β I'm all for a bit of banter β but outright abuse or dickotry is not ok. We keep our word and don't unduly give people a hard time.
A certain amount of self-sufficiency is important. Being able to scan and roll, and understand the tools we use to get around, is vital.
There is an expectation that if something important is happening, it would be appreciated if people would flow towards it and assist where they can.
Please maintain a defence fleet option for your toons β this is a group effort, we all need to show out when pushed. Current easy/default is a Drake Navy.
Participation in other doctrines is on an as-you-can-afford/fly basis, but having something suitable for both armour and shield situations is recommended. Owning your own roller is also pretty much required.
We also expect you to mostly buy ships and skills for yourself as you grow β self-fund as much as possible. We live in one of the most ISK-rich environments in the game and it's all on our front doorstep. No-one is expected to show up in anything expensive if they don't want to. (One caveat: if we're being evicted, all bets are off and we're fighting tooth and nail with everything we have if it comes down to that.)
What We Provide
We will aim to provide opportunities to group PvE, dig and PvP, while giving the freedom to do these things yourself whenever you want to.
There are many experienced players with a lot to share and a lot of patience. We will be here to help and explain as required β whether it be mapping, rolling, or lower skill/cost effective routes to content and participation.
We will provide facilities and opportunities for various industrial type activities.
You can reasonably expect leadership to provide a day-to-day operations framework as well as plan for the future. There is a lot of judgement and balance involved day to day, so please try to be patient and courteous and we'll try to provide content for all.
Keep PEWing.
